Sofie S. Remøy is an Advisor at Seafood People, based in Bergen, Norway.
Sofie is a recent graduate from the Norwegian Business School - BI, where she earned a Master of Science in Business. Her master thesis in Brand Management, focused on the younger generation’s perception of the seafood industry, and the link between sustainability and fish consumption.
Before joining the Seafood People team, Sofie had summer jobs at Rimfrost and Olympic Subsea working within economy, sales and marketing. She has also been an active part of the student organisation while at BI organising students events.
Sofie was born in Fosnavåg, Norway, a city with a strong position within both the maritime and marine industry. Her upbringing has given her a unique understanding of the seafood industry, and further inspired her to pursue it as a career.
