Seafood People is pleased to announce the appointment of Rasmus M. Bjånesøy as Manager in the firm’s growing strategy consulting practice. Rasmus brings extensive experience from PwC, where he was part of the strategy team working closely with seafood clients both in Norway and internationally.

Rasmus has built a strong track record as a strategic advisor to companies of all sizes across the seafood value chain. His experience spans production, supplier segments, and innovation-driven ventures. He has worked closely with executive teams to shape strategic direction, improve commercial performance, and unlock new growth opportunities.

Raised in Austevoll within a salmon-farming family, Rasmus combines first-hand industry knowledge with strategic insight. His professional background reflects a rare blend of industry familiarity and top-tier consulting capabilities. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
