Lene Faye Jordan-Johannessen is a Senior Advisor and Partner at Seafood People, based in Bergen, Norway.

Before joining the Seafood People team, Lene worked as career advisor for students at BI Norwegian Business School, lecturing them on how to connect to different industries, be professional job seekers and advising them on their future careers. Previous to BI, she worked for several years as a Human Resource Manager in the Norwegian Hull Club and was, together with hiring managers, responsible for all the recruitment processes within the company. She also worked with management and organizational development, health and safety education, work environment mapping and so on.

Earlier in her career she has also worked with staffing solutions for many different companies within the industry and production sector in the Bergen region on behalf of Proffice Bergen AS. When working in Utvikling.org she did open courses for managers and employees from different businesses and companies on the rules and regulations within health and safety, presentation technique, sales, service and communication.

She has managerial experience from the hotel and hospitality industry where she has worked as restaurant manager in different restaurants and departments.

Lene holds a bachelor degree with honors in hotel and hospitality management and marketing from University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. She also holds an executive master of management degree within human resource management and project management from BI Norwegian Business School. In 2018 she completed an executive master of management program at the Norwegian School of Economics in innovation and change.

She has been a DNV certified recruiter since 2011 and is a licensed user of Hogan Assessment Systems and Cut-e Assessment tools. She also holds a certification for MAP/MAP X assessment tools.

During her career she has lived and worked several years abroad, – in Scotland, Denmark and Italy.
